Saint LouisNo. 9
GeorgiaNo. 8Forget what the bracket says -- the 8-9 game is a toss-up. 9-seeds actually lead the all-time series 83-77. The "higher" seed means nothing here.

Game Story
Saint Louis Overwhelms Georgia With 58% Shooting, 102-77
Saint Louis dispatched Georgia 102-77 in the Round of 64, shooting 58.3% from the field to build a 17-point halftime lead that the Bulldogs never threatened.
Dion Brown was the game's most efficient performer, converting 9 of 10 field goal attempts for 18 points and adding four assists in just 22 minutes. He consistently attacked Georgia's defense off the drive and finished cleanly at the rim, rarely needing a second chance.
Amari McCottry provided the complementary force, posting 13 points, nine rebounds, and three steals while shooting 60% from the floor. His presence on the glass helped Saint Louis control the defensive end even as Georgia's Jeremiah Wilkinson kept the score respectable with 30 points on seven threes.
The shooting disparity told the whole story: Georgia's 34.3% from the field against Saint Louis's 58.3% produced a 25-point margin that was never really in doubt after the first ten minutes. The Billikens' 27 assists on 42 made field goals reflected an offense moving with purpose, while Georgia's 38 three-point attempts against a defense that was selectively willing to concede them proved an unsustainable strategy.
